Kumbabishekha
Jain tradition's kalashabishekha is said to be celebrated since ancient times in Vaishnava tradition.
There are traditions of performing Tatsambadi Havana along with Kalashabishekha and purify diety sculptures, which in turn believed to forgive the mistakes in daily rituals performed in temple.
There are opinions that, in every 12 years, Vishnuayaga has to be performed (spans 3 or 5 days) along with Shatha Kumbabishekha (shatha meaning thousand) to increase the presence of dieties within temple.
Pilgrimage from seven river sources, collect dried saffron along with tree remainings, such as leaf, stem, and roots, is put together by Satvika Vaidhikas (along with reciting mantras in their madalas) with Panchamrutha, Ashtagandha, Gandhodaka and many more, as one bundle.
During Shatha Kumbabishekha, such 1008 kalashas are anointed on temple's Saligrama, Panchaloha or rock idols.
If we look back in the past , studying thousands these Kumbabhishekas, it will awaken feelings about God within selves.

WORDS FROM AUTHOR - Bhamy Sudhakar Shenoy
“ I thought, the purpose is to do thousand kumbabishekha every 12 years is for increasing the presence of God, and a strong bond about the temple grows.
I stongly believe that if we don't combine our unwanted luxuries with these rituals, we can definitely celebrate Thousands of Kumbabishekha every 12 years. The bondage of God can be awakened from generation to generation.”

In 1924, our society started Bhajan by putting a portrait of Vitobha at Achut Shenai's shop, located in Payyanur. Looking into years, today, this has been a perfect example that Lord Vitobha has never abandoned those who perform Bhajans (devotional songs) as seva.
SOME IMPORTANT FACTS
Now in 5 villages of Payyanur, 150 houses belongs to our society, out of which 125 house has children with education and employment.
Out of 125 houses, 115 household members have donated their power to the Vishnuyaga and Sahasra Kumbabhisheka program held from 25-5-2024 to 30-5-2024. This unity is commendable.
Marble and granite neatly attached in the courtyard of Vitobha temple, Payyanur for the past one year. Well equipped are prepared for the Kumbabishekha
I have also noticed the strong belief and bond between the Samaj Bhandavs of SVT Payyanur, behind all preparations, with the grace of Sreemad Raghavendra Theertha, guidance of Pradhan Purohit N. Ganapati Bhat, and the well managed administration board, the Bhajaks.
Everything can be achieved if we are together.
